SEEKERS BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet on Thursday, Feb. 2 & 16 at 9:15 a.m. The Bible study from the Gospel of John, "Pursuing God's Beauty", will be the 2nd Session ( Day 1 & 2) led by Diane McCrory and (Day 3) led by Joann McGahey, respectively. Current projects in which some members are participating are: helping with the MES Rewards Store each month and helping clean and organize the Moundville Thrift Store. We welcome new members at any time.

PRAISE & WORSHIP SERVICE at MUMC on February 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary – Informal – YOU are invited to attend.

"SPREAD THE WORD" will be the theme for our annual attendance campaign which will begin Feb. 26-April 1. Pray for opportunities to witness to someone each day. This can be expressed in conversation of how your prayers have been answered, meaningful scripture that has changed your life or lifestyle or a new book that has brought you closer to Christ. Don't be afraid to share "your story" on what a difference Christ has made in your life. As you share, the work of the Holy Spirit takes over. Freely invite everyone you meet to come to church and share a ride, if that helps. Just "Spread the Word" and allow the Spirit to do His work. See you Sunday!

On Feb. 19, Adults will begin a Lenten DVD Sunday School Study led by Carolyn Payne (one group). This is a 7 week study that takes you to the cross and you see and hear the final words of Christ to the disciples, those present, and to those who witnessed the Resurrection…Adam Hamilton attempts to bring authentic places, actions and words of the event as presented in Scripture. Each Family will have a study book. You are encouraged to attend each session.
