Nothing would please us more that to have you attend one of our services with us!

Stewart is a warm, friendly, family reunion-type church.  Nothing compares to being in a small church where everyone is on a first name basis and recognized.  Concerns and needs of members and community are known and the response to nurture, love, and serve is immediate.  Each person, members and regular attendees, are actively involved to the fullest extent he/she is willing to be in any activity/service needed to reach our goals and objectives.  We collectively evaluate each year in accordance with our mission and make changes where needed.  The communication is of utmost importance in keeping everyone informed and periodic reports from committees are given.  The church utilizes the talents and graces of each person, and we attempt to make everyone feel important and necessary (because they are) in carrying out God's will for His church.

Our Mission

The mission of the Stewart United Methodist Church of Stewart, Alabama and its members consists of the following:

  • Seeking God's Will
  • Serving Others
  • Shaping Lives
  • Showing Love for God and Others
  • Sharing the "Good News."

We believe these things should be done in accordance with the Great commandment (Matthew 22:37-39 and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) proclaimed by Jesus Christ.

A message from our pastor Brother Danny Ray Arnold

WELCOME!

We welcome you to participate in the various exciting and life changing
ministries of the Stewart United Methodist Church--where you're made to
feel that "there's a place for you, because there is...that you ARE
somebody, because it's true...that you make a difference, because you
do...and that you're important, because you are!"  We firmly believe
that every person is precious and has inborn value in the sight of God.
We are also convinced that all of us stand in need of the saving grace
of God found through a faith relationship to Jesus Christ, God's only
Son.  Our primary goal, then, is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, to
grow in our knowledge of Him and in the daily practice of His principles
for living, and to share throughout our community and the world the good
news of the joy of His saving and life changing power in human lives,
available to each and every person.  We therefore purposely plan
activities and ministries for people of all ages. Again, please know you
are welcome to join us any time!  Hope to see you soon!
